Cornelius McArthy’s unique style made his work instantly recognizable. Throughout his career his subject matter has always been men, either singly or in groups, and from a wide variety of ethnic and social backgrounds. McArthy conveyed his subjects as real men, strong and unapologetic. His final exhibition was held at the Adonis Art Gallery in 2009. He died unexpectedly during the period of the exhibition.
